A Progressive Cavity Screw Pump is a rotary type of positive displacement pump. This pump is consist of a metallic Rotor which is precisely machined and an elastomer Stator. The stator is a stationary part and Rotor is a rotating part. A sealing line is formed along the axis of the rotor which is maintained at both static and dynamic conditions because of the special profile of the Rotor and Stator. The Rotor rotates within the Stator. Due to this cavities progress from suction to the discharge end of the pump carrying the fluid.
